Meet Cynthia
A Neighbor, A Leader, A Problem-Solver
Cynthia Holland is an environmental and utility attorney who has worked under three governors and contributed to four of New Jersey’s statewide Energy Master Plans. Among other things, she chaired the Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure Work Group—experience she brought home to Verona.
Elected to the Township Council in 2021, Cynthia lives in Verona with her husband and two daughters. They are active members of their faith community, their children attend Verona public schools, and you can often find them in the audience for a school show or band concert.
In her first term, Cynthia tackled longstanding issues Verona couldn’t afford to ignore—like restoring our water wells, addressing flooding risks, and investing in aging recreation facilities. Her mission is simple: plan smart, act responsibly, and protect what makes Verona special.
